The other day I got two new bookcases (:
This made me extremely happy. You know, the day I find another living human that would be as happy and enthusiastic about bookcases as myself, I think I'll be in love.
Why does this make me happy? Well, I'm sure many readers like myself have this problem at one point or another. See, books aren't exactly big, but as they accumulate over time they tend to get...unwieldy? I think that word works. And you begin to have trouble finding places to PUT THEM ALL. One way to work around this is to have filled bookcases and then random book piles laying all over the place. It works. But isn't much fun. OR you could go buy a new bookcase! Once you find somewhere to fit it, that is. Some old ugly furniture had to leave this weekend in order to make room for my books (:
I also (sadly) pulled out some books that I'll be donating to the library. Because the library has a lot more bookshelves than I do.

I love bookcases too! since I moved into my new house I have a foyier (don't know how to spell that) at the top of my stairs so I made it into a little library. I'm sure you're mom has told you we used to have a library when we were little and I've always wanted one. So I have a large bookcase and had to use a table that is supposed to go at the foot of a bed as another bookcase. I also have a lamp and recliner with footstool there. It's really cozy and I love it! I wonder sometimes why I keep all these books because no one will ever read them probably and I don't read a book twice. But I love books! (ps this is your auntie kristi aka notiti)

Aw! That sounds so cool! I want my own reading corner too! Maybe someday when I have more room, haha. With cozy furniture and bigger bookcases and a mini fridge :D

PPS - Sorry I take forever and a day to respond to comments. I don't check my blogger thingy very often, only when I come back to make new posts :( But I love that you still read it :D
